Vintage Maybelline Cake Mascara. A great piece of makeup history. A cake mascara is a black pigment thats housed in a tin and comes with a toothbrush-like applicator to help you coat and comb lashes for a defined and curled look.
The exact composition of the early Maybelline cake mascara is unknown but it was most likely a sodium stearate cake mascara. Both are used but in good vintage condition. At the best online prices at eBay.
