An eight-kilometre long walking trail begins at Masca village and continues for the length of the gorge to finish at Masca beach Spanish. The Tenerife Island Council is working on making it possible to offer all the access options. Failure to observe this recommendation may result in refusal of access.

The trail is located in the western corner of the island of Tenerife. Hi all a hike through Masca ravine is open again - we did it on 2732021. In November last year the mayor of the municipality where Masca is located said it might be March or April before it is open again but it would depend on how things progressed during winter when weather could slow work down. On February 26 2018 access to the Masca Gorge was closed for security reasons.
